Janet Kohl’s Restoration of Spirit, a Evanston Landmark showcase house to benefit Design for Dignity and the Citizens Lighthouse Community Land Trust.
Lynn Reidl, founder of Rejuvestate, is the mastermind behind the Designer Showcase House and Gardens. Kohl, with the help of area designers, created environments where art and your soul can come together to make a sanctuary of the home. The project theme focuses on the journey of potent connections from foundation to décor. It about the history of the home. Its about the Restoration of Home & Self. Its about how community is involved by attending our interactive workshops. Join us !

Workshop Hours & Information
Event Workshops: Our evening workshops focus on home design, art, flower power, home genealogy & preservation, restorative yoga, spiritual restoration, and creating the life you love !

Home Tour Hours & Admission
The Showcase home is open to the public on:
- Friday: 10am, 1pm, 3pm, 6pm
- Saturday: 10am, 1pm, 3pm, 4pm
- Sunday: 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 4pm
Ticket Prices for Tours and Workshops:
- Adults, $15.00
- Seniors aged 65 and over, $12.00
- Students with valid ID and children ages 12-16, $10.00
Special Events:
Opening Night Launch Party. Ticket Price: $39
Closing Ceremony High Tea. Ticket Price $19
Tour Guidelines:
- Private Docent-Led tours last approximately 1 hour and are available on a first come, first served basis. To ensure guest enjoyment, capacity per tour is limited to 15 people.
- Self-guided Tours: A program guide will explain the history, design style, & story. There is a limit of 5 self guided tour guests per hour.

Showcase Home Rules:
- Flat shoes are required
- Disposable booties will be provided
